Account Status

The Qualpay account moves through different stages depending on actions and activities of the merchant. The Dashboard provides a tabular view of account statuses by billing month and access to the associated detail report. All accounts are accessed by selecting Accounts from the menu. 

The table below describes the various statuses:

Account StatusDescription
Open
An account is open and has not yet processed any transactions.
Active
An account that has processed at least a $10 batch.
Inactive
An account that was Active and now has not processed in the last 60 days.
Hibernation
An account that is open but has not activated in the last 60 days.
Closure in process (Suspicious)
An account that is actively in process of closure with the Qualpay team. Merchants are usually given 30 days notice before official closure occurs.
Closing
An account that is actively in the process of closing.
Closed
An account that is now closed.
